Best way to copy Roblox maps is by using the 'Save to File' option in Roblox Studio if you have access to the original map. Just open the place, go to 'File' and 'Save As'! Boom, done.

You'll need permission from the original creator to legally copy a Roblox map or use the Roblox Studio to create your own version from scratch. Respect the game devs!

If you really want to copy a Roblox map, find a public model in the Roblox library that fits your needs. It's not exactly copying but it's a great starting point. Have done this a couple times, and it works pretty well!
