Spearmen got you stuck? Try hitting them with units that have armor-piercing damage like Great Weapons or maybe even some monstrous units. Flanking maneuvers work wonders too!
Magic is your friend here. Use spells to disrupt their formation and lower their morale. Then send in your heavy hitters.
I've found flying units to be super useful. Bombard from the air and then bring in the heavy infantry. Total carnage!
Flanking. Two units of spears can't defend against a rear attack. Much simpler than people say.
