I've been playing Terraria for years and the golden fishing rod is a badge of honor. Got mine after what felt like a million quests for the Angler but it was actually just 30. Totally worth it for the flex and it makes fishing way more efficient. Keep at those quests and you'll get it!

Actually, you can't craft the golden fishing rod. Gotta grind those fishing quests from the Angler. Reward only, no crafting!

Crafting a golden fishing rod in Terraria isn't something you do with materials like other items. Instead, you earn this shiny rod as a reward! To get your hands on it, you need to complete quests for the Angler NPC. After you've helped him out with 30 of his fishing quests, he'll reward you with the golden fishing rod. It's the best rod in the game, so happy fishing and questing!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
