Crafting boss summons in Terraria is super key to progressing. What you need depends on the boss, but common ingredients include Lenses for the Eye of Cthulhu (craft at a Demon/Crimson Altar), Gel and Wood for the King Slime (craft at a Demon/Crimson altar too), and Rotten Chunks/Vertebrae for the Eater of Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu (same altar vibes).
