How to Craft the Mechanical Worm in Terraria
Crafting the Mechanical Worm is pretty straightforward but you gotta have the right stuff. You need 6 Rotten Chunks or 6 Vertebrae, 5 Iron Bars or 5 Lead Bars, and 7 Souls of Night. Mix all these together at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil and voila, you've got yourself a Mechanical Worm. Make sure it's night time in-game when you want to summon the Destroyer, or else it won't work. Good luck!

Honestly, don't bother crafting it. Just explore and fight mobs in Corruption/Crimson areas at night. You might get lucky and find one dropped by an enemy. Worked for me.
