To craft Worm Food in Terraria, you need to gather 30 Vile Powder and 15 Rotten Chunks. You can get Vile Powder by crafting it at a Placed Bottle or Alchemy Table using Vile Mushrooms which you find in the Corruption. Rotten Chunks drop from Eaters of Souls, also in the Corruption. Once you have your ingredients, head to a Demon/Crimson Altar to craft your Worm Food, and voila! Ready to summon the Eater of Worlds.

Just a heads up, you can't make Worm Food in the Crimson biome. You've gotta be in a Corruption world. If you're in Crimson, it's Flesh Knuckles you'll be crafting, not Worm Food.

Honestly, just buy it from the Dryad during a Blood Moon if you're in a Corruption world. Saves you the hassle of gathering materials and finding an altar.
