First off, you wanna start by choosing a theme or type for your deck, like Fire or Psychic. This helps you focus on which Pokemon to include. Next, balance is key! Aim for a mix of about 15-20 Pokemon, 10-15 Energy cards, and the rest Trainer cards. Don't forget to include a mix of Basic Pokemon and their evolutions. Also, think about synergy between your cards to create powerful combos. Lastly, playtest your deck with friends to see what works and what doesn't, then tweak it as needed.

Ya just gotta grab a bunch of your fave Pokemon cards and throw 'em together, right? JK, JK. Seriously, pick a strong Pokemon as your main hitter and build around them. Stick to one or two types of energy for consistency. And don't sleep on Trainer cards, they're game changers!

Honestly, just have fun with it. Your first deck doesn't have to be perfect. The more you play, the better you'll get at tweaking it. Choose Pokemon that you like and experiment with different cards. There's no one-size-fits-all answer here.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
