Niantic hasn't revealed a way to guarantee a critical catch, but using ultra balls and golden razz berries on tougher Pokémon might help. Keep those fingers crossed!

Just keep catching Pokémon! There's no surefire way to get a critical catch, but consistent play increases your chances. Good luck!

It’s a total RNG thing. Just keep playing, and you’ll get one eventually.

A critical catch is mostly down to luck. When you see that poké ball freeze for a second in midair, you know you’ve hit the jackpot!

From my experience, I seem to get more critical catches when I'm on a streak or during special events. Maybe superstition, but worth a try!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
