Just press R1 when taking a shot and use the left stick for the direction of the curve.

From my experience, holding L2 while shooting and then using the left stick works best for curling shots. Give it a try!

To curve a ball in FIFA 23 on PS4, hold L1 while powering up your shot, then use the left analog stick to direct the curve.
