For a quick custom, just swap the wheels. You'd be surprised how different a Hot Wheels car looks with a new set of rims! It's easy and doesn't require taking the whole car apart.
Honestly, less is more. Keep it simple, folks. A little paint touch-up, maybe some new wheels. The cars already look amazing out of the box.
I airbrushed mine and added LED lights for underglow. Took a bit of extra work and some soldering, but boy does it turn heads in my display case now!
Customizing Hot Wheels is a great way to let your creativity fly! Start by disassembling the car carefully. You'll need to drill out the rivets on the bottom. Once apart, you can repaint the body, detail it with fine brushes or markers, and even swap out the wheels. Don't forget to polish the car before reassembling for that brand-new shine!
