Customizing your character in Animal Crossing: New Leaf is super fun and easy! When you first start the game, you'll be asked a series of questions by Rover on the train. Your answers actually determine your initial appearance, but don't worry, you can change it later! For hairstyle and color, head to Shampoodle's salon after it opens in your town. You need to wait 10 days after Kicks has opened and have at least spent 10,000 Bells between Able Sisters' or Kicks. For eye color, Shampoodle offers contact lenses after you've changed your hairstyle at least once. And for clothing, hit up the Able Sisters shop where you can buy or design new outfits to your heart’s content!

Honestly, half the fun is seeing what look you land with based on the questions at the start. Embrace the randomness!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
