No can do, friend. No axes swinging at trees in this game. But hey, who needs to chop down trees when you can find plenty of wood lying around? Keep an eye out for piles of wood at logging camps or just about any fallen tree.

Lemme clear this up once and for all: You CANNOT cut down trees in Fallout 76. Period. But you're not outta luck for wood. The forest floor is littered with it! Just grab and go.

So, you wanna chop some trees in Fallout 76, huh? Well, buddy, I've got some news for you - Fallout 76 doesn't let you chop down trees like you're playing Minecraft or something. What you can do, though, is gather wood from fallen trees and logs scattered around the world. Just walk up to a log that looks like it's seen better days, and voila, you can collect wood. Wood is super useful for building your camp or cooking up some grub.
