I had the same issue! Just open Spotify on a web browser, go to your account page, and use the 'Sign Out Everywhere' option. Easy peasy!
You can't deactivate a single device directly. You gotta hit 'Sign Out Everywhere' from the account page and then log back in.
Quick fix: log into your Spotify account on a browser and hit the 'Sign Out Everywhere' button. Done!
