How to Deactivate Facebook from iPhone
Just open the Facebook app, tap the three lines at the bottom right, scroll down to Settings & privacy, then Settings, scroll to Account Ownership and Control, and finally, tap Deactivation and Deletion. Select Deactivate and follow the prompts. Easy peasy!

I did this last week! Go to Facebook app > Menu (three lines) > Settings & privacy > Settings > Account Ownership and Control > Deactivation and Deletion > Deactivate account. Follow the instructions and you're good to go.
You sure you wanna deactivate? Just hit Settings & Privacy in the app, go to Account Ownership, and hit Deactivate. Simple.
