Head to the Facebook app, tap on the three-line menu, go to 'Settings & Privacy', then 'Settings'. Scroll down to 'Account Ownership and Control', and select 'Deactivation and Deletion'. Choose 'Deactivate Account' and follow the prompts. Voila!
