I had to do this once. Just head over to Settings, then Account Management, select Activate as Your Primary PS4, and hit Deactivate. Boom, you're done!

To deactivate your PS4 account, go to Settings > Account Management > Activate as Your Primary PS4, and then select Deactivate. Easy peasy!

Guys, it's all in the settings. Disable the primary PS4 in Account Management. No rocket science here.
