How to deactivate Steam Guard
Easy peasy! Just open up Steam, click on 'Steam' in the top left corner, then 'Settings' > 'Account'. In the Account tab, you'll see a 'Manage Steam Guard Account Security' section. Click on that, and you'll have the option to turn off Steam Guard. But remember, this leaves your account more vulnerable to ne'er-do-wells, so think twice before turning it off!

Why would you wanna deactivate it though? Steam Guard's like a digital bouncer for your account. Keeps the riff-raff out.
Just did this last week! Go to Settings > Account and you'll see the option for Steam Guard. Be careful though - without it, your account's an open house party.
Bad idea. Keep it on; your digital treasures need that guardian.
