How to Deal with KV-1 as British in War Thunder
The best way to tackle a KV-1 as the Brits is to aim for its weak spots! Try hitting the driver’s hatch or the lower hull. Flanking maneuvers are also effective since its side armor is weaker. Good luck!

Use APDS (Armour-Piercing Discarding Sabot) rounds. They can penetrate the KV-1's tough armor better than standard AP rounds. Also, try to engage from a distance where you can use your superior accuracy.
Honestly, run away and call in air support. Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor!
I've had success with the Churchill Mk III. Its 57mm QF 6-pounder gun, especially with APDS rounds, can penetrate the KV-1's armor if you aim properly!
