RUN! No seriously, sometimes the best strategy with the Bracken is to just high-tail it out of there. Not every fight is worth taking on, especially when ammo's as scarce as it is in Lethal Company. Keep your objectives in mind and prioritize surviving over fighting.
Honestly, just avoid it. The game's about scavenging and survival, not going toe-to-toe with every monster you find. Focus on your missions and getting off the moon. That's how you win, not by taking on every Bracken you come across.
I dunno, I kinda just wing it with the Bracken. Throw everything I got at it and see what sticks. Worked for me so far, but then again, I've been lucky. Those things are no joke, so maybe don't listen to me lol.
