How to Deactivate Instagram
To deactivate your Instagram account, cruise over to a web browser (not the app), log in, and head to your profile. Tap 'Edit Profile', and you'll find the option to temporarily disable your account at the bottom. Voilà! You can reactivate anytime by logging back in.

I did this last week! Just hop onto Instagram on a web browser, go to 'Edit Profile', and then you'll see the option to disable it temporarily. Super easy, and bonus—you can come back whenever!
