Easiest way to decrease spawn rates in Terraria? Peace Candles and Sunflowers, my friend! Peace Candles reduce enemy spawn rates when lit, and you just need Pink Gel and Gold or Platinum Bars to craft 'em. Sunflowers also give off a slight spawn reduction, so planting a few around your base does wonders. And if you're up for it, grab a Calming Potion from brewing Bottled Water, Daybloom, and Damselfish. It reduces spawn rates too!

Nah, just play on the easiest difficulty. Fewer monsters, fewer problems.

Here's a pro tip from someone who's spent waaay too much time in Terraria - use the Calming Potion alongside Peace Candles. The effects stack, making even the most monster-infested areas a walk in the park. Also, don't forget those Sunflowers; they're not just pretty faces.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
