Hot take: Just avoid them. Seriously, unless you're well-prepared, Lynels will wipe the floor with you. Focus on upgrading your gear and come back when you're ready to put up a real fight.

OK, taking down a Lynel in Tears of the Kingdom needs patience and strategy. First, master the dodge and parry mechanics; timing is key! Use your Shield to parry its attacks and dodge at the right moment to trigger a Flurry Rush. Also, exploit elemental weaknesses by using various rods or arrows. And don't forget to keep upgrading your weapons and armor. Lynels are tough, but with the right approach, you can beat them!

I finally beat one after dozens of tries! My tip? Stasis+ is your best friend. Hit them with it, then go to town with your strongest weapons. And arrows, lots of arrows directly to the face when they charge or breathe fire. Good luck!

If you're a Legend of Zelda player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
