Assaultrons? Easy peasy. Power armor and a big gun. The bigger, the better. Aim for the head, and keep blasting until it stops moving. Worked for me every time. No fancy strategy needed, just raw firepower.
Honestly, just run. If you're not equipped with the right weapons or you're low on health, there's no shame in living to fight another day. Assaultrons are brutal.
First off, keep your distance! Assaultrons are deadly up close with their melee attack. Try to cripple their legs with a high-damage weapon to slow them down, making them an easier target. Energy weapons work well too, especially if you can aim for the head or legs. Sneak attacks can give you a significant advantage at the start of the fight, so try to hit them hard and fast before they even know you're there!
