I found that using Skylanders with ranged attacks, such as Trigger Happy or Spyro himself, can make the battle a lot easier. Keep moving and hitting Kaos whenever you can.

To defeat Kaos, focus on dodging his attacks while targeting the summoned minions first. Once the field is clear, unleash your strongest attacks on Kaos himself. When he transforms into a Hydra, target each head separately, and remember to stay agile!
