From experience, communication is your best friend when defusing a spike. Had matches where a well-timed smoke or wall from a teammate kept me safe while defusing. So, talk to your team, and maybe learn a few fake defuse tricks to outsmart your opponents.

Just walk up to the spike and press and hold 4. Yeah, it's that simple. But remember, timing and cover are key because you become an easy target. So, tell your teammates to cover you or use abilities to create some space. Defusing takes about 7.5 seconds, so make sure you start defusing with enough time left on the spike!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
