Super easy! Go to the Settings menu on your FB, click on 'Your Facebook Information' then 'Deactivation and Deletion'. Choose 'Delete Account', follow the prompts, and you're done!
Personally, I did this last year. Just went to Settings, clicked on 'Your Facebook Information', and then 'Deactivation and Deletion'. Follow instructions from there!
