Deleting a game from your Steam library is actually more of a 'hide' than a full delete, but here's how you do it: First, right-click on the game in your Steam library, then click 'Manage' -> 'Remove from account'. If you're looking to get rid of it just because you're not playing it, this does the trick. But remember, it's more hidden than gone for good. You can always get it back if you have a change of heart.

Honestly, why delete games? Storage space is cheap, and who knows, maybe in 10 years, you'll want to revisit that game you're about to remove. Just hide it from your library instead of removing it; you never know what future you might think!

I tried deleting a game once thinking it'd free up some space. Joke's on me, found out it just removes access, not the actual game files. Had to manually delete them. So heads up, it's not a storage solution.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
