I did this last week! Go into System Settings, then Storage, pick your hard drive, and find the game title update to delete. Worked like a charm for me!
Just a heads-up: deleting a game update might mean you can't play online until you re-download it. But if you're sure, head to Storage under System Settings, pick your storage device, find the game, and delete the update.
Easy peasy: Settings > System > Storage > Select device > Games and Apps > Find the game > Delete update. Done!
