To delete a group on WhatsApp, you first need to remove all members from the group. Once everyone is gone, exit the group yourself by tapping on 'Exit Group' at the bottom of the screen. You'll then have the option to delete it entirely by selecting 'Delete Group'.
I deleted my group last week. Just remove members first, leave last, and then hit 'delete'. Worked like a charm!
