Been there, done that. Go to the conversation, press and hold the message, and hit 'Remove'. If you want it gone for both, select 'Remove for Everyone'. Otherwise, 'Remove for You' works just fine.

Easy peasy! Just open the chat, tap and hold the message you want to delete, and then select 'Remove'. Pick 'Remove for Everyone' to delete it from both sides, or 'Remove for You' to just hide it from your view.
Why delete when you can just own up to it? But if you must, hold the message, choose 'Remove', and you're set.
Just hold down on the message until the option to remove appears. Pick either 'Remove for Everyone' or 'Remove for You'. That's it!
