Just press '-' and follow the steps to say bye-bye to any villager! Remember, it's permanent, so make sure you're sure!

As someone who accidentally deleted my best villager, double-check who you're removing. It's a simple process but a permanent one. Press '-', talk to Tom Nook, and follow the steps. Just make sure you're deleting the right resident!

To delete a player in Animal Crossing, you need to kick off the game and hit the '-' button on your Switch to open the settings. Then, talk to Tom Nook and choose the 'Save data settings' option. From there, select 'Delete Resident Registration.' Pick the player you want to remove, and bam, they're gone! Just be careful, because once you delete them, all their items, bells, and progress vanish too!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
