First, locate the shared post on your timeline. Click on the three little dots at the top right corner of the post, and choose 'Delete'. Voilà, it's gone!
Just find the post on your profile, tap the three dots, and hit 'Delete'. Problem solved!
Honestly, if you can't delete it, maybe consider just letting it go. Sometimes less is more!
