To delete a Snapchat group, you can't directly delete it, but you can leave the group. Open the chat, tap on the group's name at the top, then tap 'Leave Group.' Once everyone leaves, the group disappears automatically.

From personal experience, just tell everyone in the group to leave, and it deletes itself. No mess, no fuss!
