Just go to the post where you're tagged, click on the three dots, and select 'Remove Tag'! Easy peasy.
You can't actually delete a tag on posts or photos you didn't make. You can only remove it from your profile.
Go to your Activity Log, find the tag, and hit 'Remove Tag'. Quick and simple! I've done it a million times.
