Just swipe left on the game in your list and tap 'Delete.' It's like swiping left on a bad date.

You can't actually *delete* a game in Words with Friends. However, you can resign from it by tapping on the game and choosing 'Resign'.

As someone who’s had to delete many games after embarrassing losses, you simply swipe left on the game in the 'Games' tab and tap ‘Delete.’ Trust me, it’s the best way to move on.

To delete a Words with Friends game in progress, open the game, go to the ‘Games’ tab, swipe left on the game you want to delete, and hit 'Delete'. Easy peasy!

If you're a Words with Friends player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Words with Friends essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
