First, open the Instagram app, go to your profile, tap the menu icon, then Settings > Account > Delete Account. Follow the steps and confirm!
You can delete your account by logging in, then heading to the Delete Your Account page in Instagram's help center, and following the instructions there.
I just did this last week. Go to profile > Settings > Account > Delete Account. Click it and you're done!
