You can't actually delete items in Subnautica, but you can drop them from your inventory and let nature take its course. Just swim out a bit and toss it, it'll despawn eventually!

There's no official delete option, so just chuck the unwanted stuff into the ocean, and it'll sink like my hopes of ever seeing my home planet again.

If you need to get rid of an item in Subnautica, simply drop it outside your base. It will eventually disappear over time.
