Deleting your Animal Crossing account is a bit tricky since it's tied directly to your user profile on your Nintendo Switch. What you can actually do is delete the user profile associated with the game. Go to System Settings on your console, navigate to Users, select the user profile you want to delete, and follow the prompts. Remember, this deletes all data for that user, not just Animal Crossing!

Honestly, just don't delete it. You never know when you'll get the itch to go back and hang out with your island buddies. Plus, starting over can be a pain.

Just start a new game! Deleting your account means you lose everything. If you're tired of your current island or villagers, starting fresh might be the way to go without losing access to the game completely.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
