I tried deleting Chara once鈥攅nded up just resetting my save file. You could try the same. Good luck!
You can't really delete Chara from Undertale, but you can reset your game to start fresh! Just go into the game settings and select 'Reset' to wipe your current progress and bring everything, including Chara, back to square one.
Hot take: You can't. Chara's always there, lurking in the shadows of your decisions. Embrace it!
