How to delete a character in Animal Crossing
Deleting a character in Animal Crossing is pretty straightforward but it depends which game you're talking about! For New Horizons, you'll want to start the game using the profile of the character you wish to delete. Then, on the title screen, press the '-' button to access settings. Tom Nook will show up to talk to you about your settings where you can then select 'Save Data Settings', followed by 'Delete Resident Registration'. Nook will warn you about what this means (it's permanent, folks!), and if you're sure, you'll just proceed to delete. Just make sure you're 100% on this, because once they're gone, they're gone for good!

Honestly, just keep them. More characters = more storage. Plus, who doesn't love a little extra help around the island?
