Go to the chat, tap the three dots, tap 'Delete,' and confirm. Done and dusted!
I find it quick to hold down the chat from the message list and select 'Delete' when it pops up. Works every time!
Just swipe left on the conversation in your Direct Messages and hit delete. Clean feed, happy you!
