To delete a contact on WhatsApp, open the app, go to the chat list, find the contact you want to remove, tap on their name at the top, then tap on the three dots (more options), and finally select 'View in address book.' Delete the contact from your phone's address book, and boom, they're gone from WhatsApp too!
Just delete the contact from your phone's address book, and it will disappear from WhatsApp. Easy peasy!
I've done this a million times! All you gotta do is go to the contact's chat, tap on their name, select 'View in address book,' and delete them from there. WhatsApp will handle the rest!
