How to delete data on Super Smash Bros 3DS
Hey, just head to your 3DS home menu, tap on the System Settings, then go to Data Management, and find Super Smash Bros. 3DS. You'll see an option to delete save data there. Simple as that!

Had to do this myself last week. Go to System Settings > Data Management > Nintendo 3DS, and delete the save data for Smash Bros. Super easy reset!
In System Settings, navigate to ‘Data Management’ and then ‘Nintendo 3DS’. Find Super Smash Bros and delete the save data. Boom, fresh start!
Delete from System Settings > Data Management > Nintendo 3DS. Just delete Super Smash Bros data. Easy peasy.
