Easy peasy! Go to the 'Friends' section, find the 'Friend Requests' tab, and click 'Delete Request' next to the person's name.
Just ignore the request. It will vanish into cyberspace eventually.
Open Facebook, click the 'Friend Requests' tab in the toolbar, find the request you want to delete, and hit 'Delete Request.' Super quick!
