For Facebook: Go to Settings & Privacy -> Settings -> Your Facebook Information -> Deactivation and Deletion. Choose 'Delete Account'. For Instagram: Go to the 'Delete Your Account' page, log in, select a reason, and hit 'Permanently delete my account'.
