How to delete Facebook permanently

The simplest way: go to this link www.facebook.com/help/delete_account, log in, and follow the instructions. Easy peasy!
I deleted mine last year. Best decision ever. Just head over to the 'Delete Your Account and Information' page in Settings.
Settings > Your Facebook Info > Deactivation and Deletion > Delete Account. Make sure to download your data first!
