Deleting files on your Steam Deck is pretty straightforward. Just dive into the Desktop mode, open up the File Manager, navigate to where your unwanted files are located, and hit the delete key. It's like cleaning your digital room—satisfying and simple.

Hot take: Why delete files when you can just get a bigger SD card? Infinite storage, infinite possibilities!

If you're all about gaming mode and don't wanna switch to Desktop, you can still manage game files directly in Steam. Just go to your Library, right-click the game, select 'Manage' and then 'Uninstall'. Poof! It's gone, making space for new gaming adventures.

Actually, I just went through this last week! Needed to make room for a new game. In Desktop mode, it's just like using a PC. I found a bunch of old screenshots taking up space. Right-click and delete felt so good. Don’t forget to empty the Trash for that sweet, sweet free space.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
