Easy peasy! Just go to Settings > System Settings > Format Utility. From there, you can format your PS3's hard drive. Remember to back up any important data first!

If you're looking to delete specific game data, head to Game > Game Data Utility, find the game, press the triangle button, and choose Delete.

Pro tip: Delete old game saves and data by going to Game > Saved Data Utility (PS3) and managing your files. I did this last week and freed up a ton of space!

Never format your entire PS3 hard drive unless you want to lose everything. Just delete individual game data instead.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
