I've done this a million times! Tap the message, then hold and select 'Remove'. Choose the option you need. If you want both parties to forget it ever happened, pick 'Remove for Everyone'. Just need it off your end? 'Remove for You' works.
Easy peasy! Just open the chat, press and hold the message you want to delete, and tap 'Remove'. Choose 'Remove for Everyone' if you want it gone for both of you or 'Remove for You' if it's just you. Poof! Message gone.
