Deleting notifications is easy. Just click those three little dots next to the notification and choose 'Remove this notification'.
Why bother deleting them? Just scroll past and let them disappear on their own.
In the Facebook app or website, head to the notifications tab, find the annoying one, click the three dots on its right, and select 'Remove this notification'. Works like a charm!
